Audition preparation:

Please familiarise yourself with the monologue of the character you wish to audition for and character description. (you don’t need to memorise the monologue).  The monologues are available here.

Cat is set in the south and so the expectation is to use a southern accent during the audition (have a go)

Keep in mind that you are not just auditioning as an individual for a particular role, but as a performer who can work well with others and fit into a big picture of the show. The key players in Cat on a Hot tin Roof are all members of the same family and need to interact as such. It will be rehearsed as an ensemble piece so commitment to rehearsals is essential. Please consider your commitments when auditioning.
